The Aiways U6 SUV-Coupé is the second model on the highly modular all-electric MAS (More Adaptable Structure) platform. The Aiways U6 SUV-Coupé combines the lifestyle, the dynamics and the emotional design with the unrivaled space and the high utility value of the already available Aiways U5 SUV. The high-quality luminaire design is clearly recognizable. The main headlights of the new Aiways U6 SUV-Coupé are presented with two LED projectors on each side and an unmistakable daytime running light signature. The same applies to the taillights. The LED light strip, which stretches across the entire width of the vehicle and is a one-piece part in the tailgate, is not only a technological highlight, it also impresses with the dynamic presentation of the light functions.

The Aiways U6 will catch your eye again and again. With its sporty, three-part waistline, athletic silhouette and generally sleek styling, it cuts an extremely dynamic figure on the road. Particularly striking: the unique, shark-like nose.
Developed in-house by Aiways, the car’s permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor is a powerful engine that unleashes an impressive performance; 160 kW (218 hp) and maximum torque of 315 Nm guarantee dynamic responsiveness, coupled with maximum efficiency and zero emissions.
Installed within a sandwich structure, the Aiways U6 battery pack comprises 24 modules with high energy density. The modules are supplied by renowned supplier CATL while the battery and the battery electronics have been developed in-house. The innovative battery pack boasts a 63 kWh battery capacity and powers the motor with 160 kW and 315 Nm, enabling a range of 400 km.* At a high-speed charging point, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 35 minutes.

Unlike other automotive battery packs, the U6 battery pack features a patented sandwich structure. The multilayered structure inserts an insulating screen between the battery module and the cooling plate, thus separating the “dry zone” (battery module) from the “wet zone” (cooling plate). Efficient cooling and preheating boost battery efficiency, which, in turn, enables greater capacity and therefore an increased range. You also benefit from a long service life. Even after eight years, the battery pack still supplies a minimum of 75% of its original capacity.
The separation between dry and wet zones ensures an unprecedented level of safety, even if the battery becomes misshapen or breaks. In the event of a serious collision, the battery module is also protected against coolant leakage. This eliminates the risk of fire/explosion. As such, a 15 mm gap between the underside of the battery plate and the battery module serves as impact protection.

Easy, practical, and versatile: whether you want to charge your electric vehicle at home or on the road, the Aiways U6 is equipped to handle most charging options – even when time is of the essence. Thanks to its integrated fast-charging technology, your U6 will go from 20% to 80% charging capacity in just 35 minutes at a high-speed charging point.
Whether you want to charge at home, at work or on holiday: with the included ICCB charging cable, you can use any standard 230V household socket. Simply connect your vehicle to the mains during the day or overnight and get into your fully charged U6 a few hours later. Of course, it’s even more convenient to have a residential wall box installed. For more information on your options or to have your home installation checked before you first charge, please contact your electrician or wall box supplier.
If you don’t have the opportunity to charge at home or at work, Aiways also offers all its drivers access to a global network of charging stations. Of course, you can also charge at other public charging points* using the cable supplied.

¹The stated figures have been calculated using the legally required measurement techniques. Previously, consumption figures were measured using the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). Since 1 September 2017, certain new vehicles have been given type approval in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure, WLTP). Compared with NEDC, WLTP represents a more realistic procedure for measuring electricity consumption. As of 1 September 2018, NEDC is gradually being replaced by WLTP. The electricity consumption figures measured using WLTP are, in many cases, higher than those measured using NEDC, which is attributable to the more realistic test conditions associated with WLTP.
We are currently legally obliged to state the NEDC figures. In respect of new vehicles that have already been granted type approval in accordance with WLTP, the NEDC figures are derived from the WLTP figures. Until it becomes mandatory, the statement of the WLTP figures is made voluntarily. NECD values, which are given as a range, do not form part of the offer, as they do not relate to a specific vehicle. They serve solely to facilitate comparison between different vehicle types.
